Counselling and psychotherapy is a journey of self-exploration, which may lead to greater understanding and self awareness. With the Counsellor, you may look at past experiences and emotional patterns and this can be helpful as early experiences can determine how you behave and feel as adults.
Through therapy, we can become more conscious of our patterns of behaviour and emotional functioning. This sense of self awareness can lead us to a greater sense of well-being, freedom, through the relationship that is built between you and your therapist; you will develop a better understanding of yourself and gain insight into how you interact with yourself and others.
